I think N is alternately concerned and horrified that Nana is stuck in the phone.

She's trying to adjust to it though. I got a tiny smile...

Broken but happy!

     What happens when it rains every. Single. Day. For. Weeks? and then magically on your one day off to stay home the sun comes out?

You work until you're broken! Pretty sure I get that from my Mom. 

Everything here is terribly overgrown. So today I just picked a bush and started pruning. This bush...whatever it is-

This is it's flower and it was really struggling to bloom with all the overgrowth. Also ivy is trying to take over everything here so I feel clearing out the bottoms of these trees is important.

I also discovered I have a lilac bush!

And this is growing at the base of it. Is it an azalea?

It's really hard to just pick one thing to work on- especially in the yard there is garbage, BlackBerries, and Ivy everywhere you look to contend With.

Also we ripped out another room of carpet today and yes it was disgusting.

First day back at work

Coastal Grounds 2015 season is underway- and we had a good first day! 

I arrived at 6:30 this morning and one of my sweet customers and fellow Ocean Shores business owners had already been there and tied balloons to my deck - I seriously almost cried.

I made over 40 drinks today! Not too shabby :)
