Today is day #1 of No Facebook November. Started by our youth pastor, Dennis Reed. I'm only a couple hours in to it and already one of my facebook (and church) friends has sent me an e-mail because she doesn't want to lose touch while I'm on my facebook fast. I think that's pretty special and it touched my heart that she made the extra effort to stay connected.
While I don't see myself permanently giving up facebook, I think taking some time to refocus facebooks place in my life is a fabulous idea and I look forward to the changes it brings.
